How to Play Fishing Time
A plain-language guide to chips, sectors, the Wheel and the bet tools in BGaming's Fishing Time.
The basics
Fishing Time is a crash-style game built on Wheel of Fortune mechanics. The genre is "Casual", and the setting is ice fishing, with the angler from Winter Fishing Club. Rather than watching a multiplier climb and cashing out, you place bets before the Wheel spins and the sector it stops on decides the outcome.
Bets are made with chips. Each chip is a stake, and you put chips on the sectors you want to back. Chips can be stacked or combined, so you can put several on one sector or spread them over more than one. Your potential result depends on where the Wheel stops, not on when you press a button.
If you want to see the layout first, open the free demo. The headline figures are RTP 96.00%, volatility from low to high and a maximum of ×1,000 of the initial stake.
The five bet types
Below the Wheel there are five bet types. They fall into two kinds of sector.
Two ×2 fish sectors
These are the sectors marked with fish symbols. If you have chips on a fish sector and the Wheel stops on it, you win ×2. Random multipliers that appear on Wheel segments boost sector wins, so a fish win is not necessarily limited to the plain ×2 figure.
Three Bonus sectors
The Bonus sectors are Big Catch (green), Huge Catch (yellow) and Mega Catch (magenta). If the Wheel stops on a Bonus sector you backed, a Bonus game starts, with guaranteed payouts. Our Bonus games page covers them in detail.
Round step by step
Every round follows the same short sequence. This is what happens from your first chip to the next round.
Place your chips
Put chips on one or more sectors. You can back a fish sector, a Bonus sector or several at once.
The Wheel spins
While it turns, random multipliers may appear on segments.
A fish sector stops it
If the Wheel stops on a fish sector you backed, that bet wins ×2.
Or a Bonus sector does
If it stops on a Bonus sector, the Bonus game plays out and the final multiplier is applied to your stake.
Place new bets
The round ends and you set up the next one, by hand or with the tools below.
Random multipliers on the Wheel
The feature that gives the game its character is the random multiplier. As the Wheel spins, multipliers may appear on its segments. They boost the win on the sector they sit on, and that includes Bonus payouts. Which segments get a multiplier, and how large it is, is random.
Because the multipliers are random, nothing you do while the Wheel spins affects them. Fairness rests on "advanced RNG systems". Read more about what that means for planning in our strategy guide.
Bet tools
Autoplay 5–100
Once your bets are placed, press the Auto button to run a set number of rounds, from 5 to 100. Autoplay repeats rounds without you pressing anything, which is convenient but also speeds up spending. Decide your limits before you start it.
Rebet
Rebet (also called "Reverse Bet") is a one-tap switch that sets your chips to the values of the previous bet. It saves time when you like your last layout.
Double Bet
Double Bet doubles the chips you have placed, up to the maximum bet value. Doubling doubles the amount at risk in the same way, so use it deliberately.
Bet on all Bonus games
A button lets you back all three Bonus sectors at once instead of placing chips on each. That covers Big, Huge and Mega Catch in one tap, at the cost of staking on all three.
Reading round history
Round history is shown at the bottom right of the screen. It lists recent results, which is useful for checking what you played and how your session has gone. It does not help predict the next result: each spin is independent and random, so a pattern in history is not a signal.
Before you play
- Try the demo. See the Wheel and the controls with play credits first.
- Set a budget. Decide the most you are willing to spend, and treat it as already gone.
- Set limits. Use the casino's deposit and time limits, and think about the total before using Autoplay.
- Check the game's info screen. Bet limits and currencies differ by casino.

Beginner mistakes
- Skipping the demo. Learn the layout with play credits before staking money.
- Ignoring the round's total stake. Chips on several sectors add up.
- Doubling after a loss. The Wheel has no memory, so Double Bet does not make a win more likely.
- Leaving Autoplay on. It speeds up spending, so start with a few rounds.
